Connecticut Infrared Thermography is a division of Allied Home Inspections. We provide various inspection services to residential and commercial clients in the Connecticut and lower NY area, including building inspections, thermal imaging, water testing, mold testing, and radon testing.



Tom Schlotter is a Certified Infrared Thermographer, licensed home inspector and the owner of Allied Home Inspections LLC. He is also a member in good standing of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI). NACHI is a non-profit organization that certifies its members through mandatory examinations on construction and inspection principals, Standards of Practice, and the ethics of home inspection. Tom is also a member of the Connecticut Association of Home Inspectors (CAHI), the largest independent home inspector organization in the state, and has received additional certification from the Home Inspection Institute of America (HIIA). He is a Professional Environmental Inspector through PRO-LAB Environmental Laboratories (an AIHA accredited laboratory) and certified by IAC2. As a member of the Independent Home Inspectors of North America he helps promote consumer protection for home buyers, provides objective inspection reports and avoids any potential conflict of interest by not rewarding or compensating Realtors, lawyers, contractors or others for their referrals to homebuyers.
